Tektronix Installed Option; Arbitrary function generator
The Tektronix 6-AFG is an installed option for the MSO/DPO Series 4, 5, and 6 oscilloscopes, providing an integrated arbitrary function generator. This option enables users to generate standard waveforms (sine, square, pulse, ramp, noise, DC, and more) as well as custom arbitrary waveforms directly from the oscilloscope. The 6-AFG supports up to 50 MHz output frequency and offers features such as modulation, sweep, and burst modes. It is designed to simplify test setups by eliminating the need for a separate function generator, streamlining workflow and saving bench space. The 6-AFG is fully controlled through the oscilloscope's user interface.
