The Rohde & Schwarz YIG preselection (part number 1347.5443.44) is a hardware option designed specifically for FSW spectrum analyzers with a frequency range up to 44 GHz. This preselection module is installed in addition to the standard filter banks and is applicable exclusively to RF input A. The YIG (Yttrium Iron Garnet) filter enhances the analyzer's performance by providing superior image rejection and improved dynamic range, especially in challenging measurement environments with strong out-of-band signals.
