Rohde & Schwarz 10/100BASE-T Ethernet serial decoding (software license)
The R&S®RTx-K57 option (part number 1337.8633.02) enables 10/100BASE-T Ethernet serial protocol decoding on Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes. This software license allows users to trigger on and decode Ethernet frames in real time, providing detailed analysis of network traffic directly on the oscilloscope display. The decoded data is shown in a time-correlated manner with the analog signal, facilitating troubleshooting and validation of Ethernet-based designs. The option supports both 10BASE-T and 100BASE-TX standards, offering features such as frame start/stop triggering, error frame detection, and display of decoded protocol information including MAC addresses, type/length, and payload. This enhances the oscilloscopes utility for embedded and network engineers working with Ethernet interfaces.
