VIAVI Solutions, Inc. TrueSpeed RFC-6349 over 1GE port up to 1Gbps Option
The NSC-TRUESPEED-1G is an official VIAVI Solutions option for the Network & Service Companion (NSC) platform, enabling TrueSpeed RFC-6349 TCP throughput testing over a 1 Gigabit Ethernet (1GE) port at speeds up to 1Gbps. This licensed feature allows users to perform standardized RFC-6349 tests to accurately measure end-to-end TCP performance, including throughput, round-trip time, and buffer delay, directly from the NSC handheld device. The TrueSpeed test option is designed to help service providers and technicians validate and troubleshoot high-speed Ethernet services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and optimizing network performance. This option is compatible only with NSC units equipped with a 1GE test port and requires activation via license key.
