The EWAVESCAN-UPG is an upgrade function for VIAVI Solutions' DWDM OTDR platforms, enabling the advanced WaveScan feature. WaveScan is designed to provide fast, automatic channel discovery and analysis for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) networks. This upgrade enhances the OTDR's capability to scan, identify, and characterize multiple DWDM channels in a single test, improving efficiency and accuracy in network commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. The function is compatible with supported VIAVI DWDM OTDR instruments and is activated via software license.
