The LB5918L-LAN is a power sensor accessory from LadyBug Technologies LLC, designed specifically for the LB5900 Series. This option adds a HiSLIP and Power over Ethernet (PoE) LAN interface to the compatible power sensor, enabling remote control and data acquisition over a network. The HiSLIP protocol provides high-speed communication for test and measurement instruments, while PoE allows both power and data to be delivered via a single Ethernet cable. When this option is installed, it removes other interface options from the sensor, making the LAN interface the sole method of connectivity. This configuration is ideal for automated test environments requiring networked instrumentation.
