VIAVI Solutions, Inc. 500M SM LAUNCH CABLE SC/APC TO SC/APC
The VIAVI ELCSM500M-SCA-SCA is a 500-meter single-mode (SM) fiber optic launch cable assembly designed for use with optical time-domain reflectometers (OTDRs) and other fiber optic test equipment. This launch cable features SC/APC to SC/APC connectors, ensuring low insertion loss and high return loss for accurate testing of fiber optic links. The 500-meter length provides sufficient fiber to eliminate the dead zone in OTDR measurements, allowing for precise characterization of fiber links from the very beginning of the cable. The ELCSM500M-SCA-SCA is built to VIAVI's high standards for durability and performance, making it suitable for both field and laboratory environments.
