VIAVI Solutions, Inc. 9000OPT1 16K - 25K Foot EXT Range
The ALT-9000OPT1 is an official option for the VIAVI Solutions ALT-9000 RF Altimeter Test Set. This option extends the test set's altitude simulation range from the standard maximum to a new upper limit of 25,000 feet, allowing users to perform comprehensive testing of radio (radar) altimeters over a broader range of simulated altitudes. The extended range is particularly useful for maintenance, troubleshooting, and certification of aircraft altimeter systems that require validation at higher operational altitudes. The ALT-9000OPT1 is designed and supported by VIAVI Solutions, ensuring compatibility and reliable performance when installed on the ALT-9000 platform. This option is intended for professional avionics technicians and organizations needing to meet regulatory and operational requirements for high-altitude altimeter testing.
