Tektronix Installed option; Arbitrary function generator
The Tektronix 5-AFG is an installed option for the 5 Series MSO Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes, providing a built-in arbitrary/function generator. This option enables users to generate a wide variety of test signals directly from the oscilloscope, including standard waveforms such as sine, square, ramp, pulse, noise, DC, and arbitrary waveforms. The 5-AFG supports frequencies up to 50 MHz and offers 14-bit vertical resolution. It is designed to simplify signal stimulus for device characterization, debugging, and education, eliminating the need for a separate signal generator instrument.
