Tektronix Installed Option; Arbitrary function generator
The Tektronix 3-AFG is an installed option for the 3 Series MDO Mixed Domain Oscilloscope, enabling the integrated Arbitrary Function Generator (AFG) capability. This option allows users to generate a wide variety of standard and arbitrary waveforms directly from the oscilloscope, supporting frequencies up to 50 MHz. The 3-AFG provides 13 built-in waveform types, including sine, square, ramp, pulse, noise, DC, and more, as well as user-defined arbitrary waveforms. It is designed to facilitate signal simulation, circuit stimulation, and device characterization tasks, enhancing the versatility of the 3 Series MDO platform. The option is fully integrated and controlled via the oscilloscope's touchscreen interface, offering seamless operation and configuration.
