The Rohde & Schwarz 1438.8150.02 is a deeper chassis hardware option designed specifically for the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator. This chassis is a prerequisite for installing certain hardware options, namely R&S®SMW-B2012, R&S®SMW-B2031, R&S®SMW-B2044, and R&S®SMW-B2044N. It provides the necessary physical space and structural support required by these advanced modules. Importantly, this deeper chassis option must be specified at the time of initial instrument order, as it cannot be retrofitted or installed after the instrument has left the factory.
