The R&S®SGU-K448 is a software license option for the R&S®SGU100A RF Upconverter, enabling signal generation for Instrument Landing System (ILS) and VHF Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR) applications. This option allows users to simulate aircraft landing procedures by generating ILS and VOR signals in accordance with ICAO Annex 10 standards. The software supports the creation of complex test scenarios for avionics equipment, including localizer, glide slope, and marker beacon signals for ILS, as well as VOR signals with variable bearing and identification tones. The R&S®SGU-K448 is designed for use in development, production, and maintenance environments, providing precise and repeatable signal conditions for comprehensive testing of navigation receivers. The license is activated via a key code and requires compatible R&S®SGU100A hardware.
