The Rohde & Schwarz 1420.7200.02 is an ultra high output power hardware option for the R&S®SMAB vector signal generator series. This option enables significantly increased output power levels at 3 GHz or 6 GHz, depending on the installed frequency extension (R&S®SMAB-B103 or R&S®SMAB-B106). It requires the high power option (R&S®SMAB-K31) to be present and must be installed at the factory, as it is not field-upgradable. This hardware enhancement is designed for demanding test environments where higher output power is essential, such as in component characterization, receiver sensitivity testing, and over-the-air measurements.
