Rohde & Schwarz DFS signal generation external PC software required R&S®SMW-B9/B10 required (software license)
The R&S®SMW-B9 DFS Signal Generation option is a software license for the R&S®SMW200A vector signal generator, enabling the generation of radar test signals for Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) testing as specified in regulatory standards such as FCC and ETSI. This option allows users to create and customize radar pulse patterns required for compliance testing of wireless devices operating in the 5 GHz band. The R&S®SMW-B9 option requires an external PC with dedicated software and must be used in conjunction with the R&S®SMW-B10 baseband extension. The solution supports automated test sequences and provides a user-friendly interface for configuring radar signal parameters, ensuring accurate and repeatable DFS test scenarios.
