The Rohde & Schwarz FSx-K9 is a software license option that enables the control of external signal generators via LAN for use as a tracking generator with compatible Rohde & Schwarz spectrum analyzers. This option allows users to synchronize and control external generators, expanding the measurement capabilities of the analyzer for applications such as scalar network analysis. The FSx-K9 option does not include the D-Sub cable required for TTL synchronization, which must be obtained separately. The license is delivered electronically and is activated on the instrument.
