The AP031, AP032, AP0333 are active differential probes for all 1Mohm input oscilloscopes. The differential techniques employed permit measurements to be taken between two points on the circuit without reference to ground.
This allows the oscilloscopes to be safety grounded without the opto-isolators or isolating transformers.
The two signals are processed in the probe, and the resultant is fed into a single channel of the oscilloscope. The output from the probe is a coaxial cable equipped with a standard BNC connector.
