The R&S®RTP-K130 option (part number 1801.8109.02) is a software license for Rohde & Schwarz RTP oscilloscopes that enables advanced serial data analysis with signal path compensation. It allows embedding of up to five user-configurable components, such as cables or adapters, into the measurement setup. The option provides predistortion at the transmitter (TX) using a feed-forward equalizer (FFE) filter and equalization at the receiver (RX) to recover the data eye after transmission losses, utilizing continuous-time linear equalizer (CTLE), FFE, or decision feedback equalizer (DFE) filters. This enhances measurement accuracy by compensating for signal degradation and transmission channel effects.
