The R&S®SMW-K545 software option (part number 1414.6529.13) enables advanced pulse-on-pulse and pulse-on-CW simulation capabilities with more than two emitters on the R&S®SMW200A Vector Signal Generator. This option increases the pulse descriptor word (PDW) streaming rate per SMW, allowing for the generation of complex radar signal environments. It is designed for demanding radar and electronic warfare (EW) test scenarios, supporting the simulation of multiple overlapping pulses and continuous wave signals. The option requires two R&S®SMW-B9 baseband mainboards, two R&S®SMW-B15 digital baseband interfaces, and two R&S®SMW-K502 real-time baseband streaming options. The license is delivered as a software key and integrates seamlessly with the SMW200A platform, providing users with enhanced flexibility and realism in radar signal simulation.
