The R&S®ESW-B5001 is an extension option for the R&S®ESW EMI test receiver series, enabling a real-time FFT bandwidth of up to 970 MHz. This software option allows users to perform real-time spectrum analysis over a significantly wider bandwidth, which is essential for capturing and analyzing fast, transient, or broadband signals in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing. The option is designed to work with compatible R&S®ESW models and requires the appropriate hardware configuration. It specifically excludes the R&S®ESW-B350R hardware option. The extension enhances the receiver's capability for advanced EMI diagnostics and compliance measurements, supporting demanding test scenarios in commercial, automotive, and military EMC applications.
