The Direct Source and Receiver Access hardware option (part number 1332.4581.44) for the R&S®ZNA43 vector network analyzer enables direct access to the internal sources and receivers of the instrument. This option is designed specifically for the 4-port configuration of the R&S®ZNA43 and is available as a B-option ex factory only. It allows users to connect external devices or measurement setups directly to the signal paths, facilitating advanced measurement scenarios such as embedding/de-embedding, calibration, and custom test configurations. The option enhances flexibility for demanding RF and microwave applications by providing access points for both source and receiver channels. For retrofit, the corresponding ZNAxx-Uxx option must be used.
