The Rohde & Schwarz FSV-B22 is a preamplifier option designed specifically for the FSV series spectrum analyzers. It extends the analyzer's sensitivity by providing a low-noise amplification stage, enabling the detection and measurement of very weak signals. The preamplifier covers a frequency range from 10 MHz to 7 GHz, making it suitable for a wide variety of RF and microwave measurement applications. By reducing the system noise figure, the FSV-B22 enhances the analyzer's performance in applications such as EMI diagnostics, wireless communications, and general RF testing. The preamplifier is an internal hardware option that must be installed by Rohde & Schwarz service personnel.
