The R&S® FSW-B500 is a hardware option for the R&S® FSW Signal and Spectrum Analyzer series, enabling an extension of the analysis bandwidth up to 500 MHz. This option includes a microwave preselector bypass, allowing for direct signal analysis without the limitations imposed by the preselector, which is essential for wideband applications. The FSW-B500 is designed to be retrofitted by Rohde & Schwarz service personnel and is not user-installable. It is compatible with FSW models that do not already include the R&S® FSW-B160, FSW-U160, or FSW-B320 options. This upgrade is ideal for advanced research, development, and testing environments requiring high bandwidth and precise signal analysis capabilities.
