The VIAVI ESMARTLINK-100 is a software option for the SmartOTDR family of handheld optical time domain reflectometers. This option enables the SmartLink Mapper (SLM) functionality, which provides an intuitive, icon-based fiber link view for simplified OTDR trace analysis. The SLM feature automatically interprets complex OTDR results and presents them in a user-friendly format, helping technicians quickly identify and locate faults, splices, connectors, and other key events along the fiber. Designed to reduce training time and minimize human error, the ESMARTLINK-100 enhances the efficiency and accuracy of fiber optic testing in the field.
