Tektronix 7A29

Product Description:

Tektronix 7A29 1GHz Vertical Amplifier Plug-in

The Tektronix 7A29 oscilloscope is a graph-displaying device – it draws a graph of an electrical signal. In most applications, the graph shows how signals change over time: the vertical (Y) axis represents voltage and the horizontal (X) axis represents time. The intensity or brightness of the display is sometimes called the Z axis.

The Tektronix 7A29 oscilloscope's simple graph can tell you many things about a signal, such as: the time and voltage values of a signal, the frequency of an oscillating signal, the “moving parts” of a circuit represented by the signal, the frequency with which a particular portion of the signal is occurring relative to, other portions, whether or not a malfunctioning component is distorting the signal, how much of a signal is direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC) and how much of the signal is noise and whether the noise is changing with time.

Feature:
Bandwidth: 1GHz
No. of channels: 1ch

7A29

- DC to 1GHz Bandwidth

- 10mV to 1V/Div Calibrated Deflection Factors

- 50 ohm Input

- +/-500 ps Variable Delay Line (Option 04)

The 7A29 is a high-performance, wideband, single-trace amplifier that provides a bandwidth of 1 GHz in the 7100-Series mainframes. Bandwidths is constant over the entire range of calibrated deflection sensitivities of 10 mV to 1 V/div. Input impedance is 50 ohm. Manually resettable input-protection circuitry protects the input against most common overloads. Polarity of the display is selectable by a front-panel switch. An optional variable delay line (front-panel adjustable) permits matching the transit time of two 7A29s and/or probes to better than 10 ps. Deflection Factors
