The National Instruments NI PXI-2584 is a high-voltage multiplexer switch in a single-slot, 3U PXI module. With a 300V CAT II certification, it is capable of routing general-purpose ATE loads or high-voltage, low-current signals. The 600V CAT I channel-to-ground isolation on the NI PXI-2584 makes it ideal for fuel cell and battery stack applications. The module uses an interleaved topology which maximizes channel count when measuring potentials on a battery stack or fuel cells. This is done by putting each single input pin on the front connector points in between potentials on the stack which help extends channel count from 6 to 11 2-wire channels. The module can also be used in multi-module configurations for taking measurements on hundreds of channels. The 600V CAT I and 300V CAT II safety ratings combined with UL safety certification make it ideally suited for high-voltage ATE systems which include the NI PXI-4071 1000V DMM. The reed relays in the PXI-2584 also ensure longer lifetimes and faster actuation times for test equipment.

NOTES:
1) The NI PXI-2584 shall not be connected to MAINs CAT II, III, or IV circuits above 300V. See the product Specifications for proper installation and restrictions for safe use of the NI PXI-2584, and explanation of measurement categories (CAT).
2) The NI PXI-2584 is not EMC emissions protected. See the product Specifications for proper installation and controls for EMC suppression.
