Product Description:
Anritsu MS2711 100 kHz to 3.0 GHz,Spectrum Analyzer
The Anritsu MS2711 spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Anritsu MS2711. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).
Some applications for Anritsu MS2711 Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Anritsu MS2711 spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Anritsu MS2711 spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.
Feature:Minimum Frequency: 100kHz
Maximum Frequency: 3.0GHz
Resolution bandwidth: 10kHz
Designed for field environments and applications requiring mobility, the MS2711 satisfies spectrum analysis needs in cellular, DCS/PCS, paging, WLAN/WPBX and other communications system applications by providing easy-to-use, accurate performance in a lightweight (4.0 lbs.; 1.8kg), battery operated unit covering the 100 kHz to 3000 MHz frequency range.
Utilizing an advanced synthesizer-based design, the MS2711 delivers accurate, reliable and repeatable measurements - anywhere, everytime. A broad range of functions coupled with resolution bandwidths ranging from 10 kHz to 1 MHz simplifies identification of interfering signals in modern wireless systems. Rugged packaging keeps the MS2711 operating in harsh environments and able to withstand rough handling.
The MS2711 simplifies the process of making spectrum analyzer measurements and interpreting the results. As a result, it simplifies field engineers and technicians job of going site-to-site identifying, recording a
