Product specs for Anritsu MS2661C

Anritsu MS2661C

Product Description:

Anritsu MS2661C Spectrum Analyzer (9kHz to 3 GHz)

The Anritsu MS2661C spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Anritsu MS2661C. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).

Some applications for Anritsu MS2661C Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Anritsu MS2661C spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Anritsu MS2661C spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.

Feature:
Minimum Frequency: 9kHz
Maximum Frequency: 3GHz

BUILT-IN FUNCTIONS

* Frequency counter

* C/N

* Adjacent channel power

* Occupied frequency bandwidth

* Burst avearge power

* Noise power

* PASS/FAIL limit lines The MS2661C Portable Spectrum Analyzer is for signal analysis of radio and other equipment related to improving frequency usage efficiency, higher modulation, and digitalization. This is a synthesized spectrum analyzer covering a wide frequency range from 9 kHz to 3 GHz. It has superior basic performance such as high C/N ratio, low distortion, and high frequency/level accuracies and is easy to operate. It has a "Measure" function for evaluation of radio equipment (frequency counter, C/N, adjacent channel power, occupied frequency bandwidth, burst average power, and template decision function), and which enables the two-screen display and FM demodulation waveform display. The large selection of options means that a wider range of applications can be handled at reasonable cost.
