Product Description:
Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8594A 9 kHz to 2.9 GHz Portable Spectrum Analyzer
The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8594A spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8594A. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).
Some applications for Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8594A Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8594A spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8594A spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.
Feature:Minimum Frequency: 9kHz
Maximum Frequency: 2.9GHz
Resolution bandwidth: 1Hz
All cable TV network operators planning the introduction of digital services have increasing competitive pressure to install these new services - quickly. Aggressive activation schedules require test equipment capable of verifying your quality of service - fast.
The HP 8594Q QAM (Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) analyzer is a comprehensive and powerful test solution, primarily designed for installation and maintenance test on European DVB-C systems. Supporting 8, 4 and 2 MHz channel bandwidths, the HP 8594Q QAM analyzer makes both qualitative and quantitative measurements on the transmitted 64 QAM signal. It
gives engineers the measurement capability required to accurately verify the quality of service delivered to subscribers. All measurements are presented in a user-friendly manner so the engineer can focus on the job at hand, not on operating the test equipment.
Option J91 supports the 6 MHz channel bandwidth and symbol rates used on cable systems in North A
