Advantest U3661

Product Description:

Advantest U3661 Microwave Spectrum Analyzer

The Advantest U3661 spectrum analyzer is a wide band, very sensitive receiver. It works on the principle of "super-heterodyne receiver" to convert higher frequencies (normally ranging up to several 10s of GHz) to measurable quantities. The received frequency spectrum is slowly swept through a range of pre-selected frequencies, converting the selected frequency to a measurable DC level (usually logarithmic scale), and displaying the same on the CRT of the Advantest U3661. The CRT displays received signal strength (y-axis) against frequency ( x-axis).

Some applications for Advantest U3661 Spectrum Analyzers include Site Monitoring: Verify that the frequency and signal strength of your transmitter is accurate. Interference: Before a system is installed you use a Advantest U3661 spectrum analyzer to verify that the frequencies (you plan to use) are not occupied or if the presence of a very strong signal will interfere with your new setup. Interference can be created by a number of different situations. Other tests that utilize the Advantest U3661 spectrum analyzer features include antenna isolation, co-channel interference, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, intermodulation, microwave or satellite antenna alignment, and characterization of components.

Feature:
Minimum Frequency: 9kHz
Maximum Frequency: 26.5GHz
Resolution bandwidth: 100Hz
A Light-Weight (8 kg) Spectrum Analyzer Enabling Maintenance and Inspection of Microwave Relays in Mountains, with Battery Operation Possible.

ADVANTEST has developed the U3661, a light and compact portable microwave spectrum analyzer, and put it on the market.

Microwave spectrum analyzers are used for maintenance and inspection of microwave communications and TV broadcast relay facilities. In many cases, relay stations are located in mountains or on the roof of buildings, and therefore, there have been a strong demand for light and compact spectrum analyzers.

To meet this demand, the U3661 ralizes a weight of 8 kg or less and ca be opeated continously for up to 1.5 hours iwht a specialized battery pack, allowing it tob e used in mountains or other places without AC power supply.

The analyzer covers a measurement range from 9 kHz to 26.5 GHz with a minimum resolution vandwidthof 1 kHz. Optionally, it can be applied to up to 100 kHz, allowing analysis of neighbouring no Battery Operat. poss
