The 626G analyzer can handle up to five plug-in modules which operate independently of each other and automatically interface with the 626G mainframe's real-time clock for enhanced cause and effect analysis. This universal disturbance analyzer can be "daisy chained" with multiple 626G units through connections with synchronization cables. One mainframe acts as a "master" time reference unit with other units acting as "slaves" (30 ms accuracy).
The 626G's communication features allow data transfer to PCs and data acquisition systems for efficient, software aided power analysis. The communications modules offer audio-dial/auto-answer modem features for continuous or periodic downloading of disturbance data to a central location for processing. The internal thermal printer generates reports on demand and will automatically produce daily summary reports every midnight.
