Access digital signals for baseband test
Option 003 activates the instruments digital bus and enables connectivity to the N5102A baseband studio digital signal interface module.
Flexible data formats, clocking, and physical interface
The N5102A baseband studio digital signal interface module exhibits the utmost in flexibility when interfacing to your device under test. Easily set up 4 to 16-bit digital I/Q, serial, or parallel data streams, and digital IF signals. Clocking features include automatic resampling and adjustable clock phase and skew. Physical interfacing is simplified with selectable TTL, CMOS, and LVDS logic types, and SCSI, Mictor, and Samtec interchangeable break-out boards.
Typical applications
Digital output connectivity with the N5102A digital signal interface module is recommended for testing transceivers and components with a digital test stimulus. Typical applications include verifying and debugging ASIC and DSP coding algorithms, determining the performance characteristics of D/A converters, and driving the transmitter RF chain with a baseband test stimulus.
