Enable externally controlled dynamic waveform hopping

Option SP2 enables the internal "segment advance" ARB capability to allow jumping to any of the 256 different segments in ARB waveform memory. The next segment to be played is determined dynamically via an external 8-bit value and external pattern trigger inputs on the PSG Aux IO connector. This advanced IQ modulation mode has an 80 MHz instantaneous bandwidth across the frequency range of the PSG.

Typical applications

Radar and EW applications often require short frequency hopping changes that need to happen faster than the typical 1 to 10 msec time when changing the CW frequency of the PSG.

This option cannot be added as a product upgrade only available at time of purchase.
