Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8754A

Product Description:

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8754A 4 to 1300 MHz Network Analayzer

The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8754A network analyzer is an instrument which measures the complex transmission and reflection characteristics of two-port devices in the frequency domain. It does this by sampling the incident signal, separating the transmitted and reflected waves, and then performing ratios that are directly related to the reflection and transmission coefficients of the two-port. Frequency is swept to rapidly obtain amplitude and phase information over a band of frequencies of interest.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8754A network analyzers utilize synthesized-frequency sources to provide a known test stimulus that can sweep across a range of frequencies or power levels. Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8754A network analyzers also can perform ratioed measurements (including phase), which require multiple receivers. The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8754A can provide a wealth of knowledge about a device under test (DUT), including its magnitude, phase, and group-delay response.

A Complete Stimulus/Response Test System for Network Characterization

The Hewlett-Packard Model 8754A brings you the speed and convenience of swept magnitude and phase measurements in a compact package.

Signal Separation (Test Set):

A comprehensive line of 50 ohm and 75 oh test sets allow you to tailor your test setup for a specific measurement using the minimum of equipment, or to provide the maximum in versatility for a wide range of applications. Signal separation devices include the 11850 Power Splitter for precision transmission measurement, the 8502 Test Set for simultaneous transmission and reflection measurements, the 8748A S-Parameter Test Set to measure both forward and reverse S-Parameters, and high impedance probes for in-circuit measurements. Matched cable sets, precision adapters, and transistor fixtures provide convenient, reliable connections to the test device.
