Product Description:

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8712ET 300 kHz to 1.3 GHz RF Economy Vector Network Analy

The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8712ET network analyzer is an instrument which measures the complex transmission and reflection characteristics of two-port devices in the frequency domain. It does this by sampling the incident signal, separating the transmitted and reflected waves, and then performing ratios that are directly related to the reflection and transmission coefficients of the two-port. Frequency is swept to rapidly obtain amplitude and phase information over a band of frequencies of interest.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8712ET network analyzers utilize synthesized-frequency sources to provide a known test stimulus that can sweep across a range of frequencies or power levels. Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8712ET network analyzers also can perform ratioed measurements (including phase), which require multiple receivers. The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8712ET can provide a wealth of knowledge about a device under test (DUT), including its magnitude, phase, and group-delay response.

Feature:
Type: Vector

The HP 8712ET RF economy network analyzer provides speed, accuracy and automation features in a compact, integrated instrument for RF component

manufacturing, inspection and maintenance.

The HP 8712ET features a built-in transmission/reflection test set with a full range of magnitude and phase measurements. Two independent channels can measure

and display two device parameters, such as transmission and reflection response, in a variety of formats including complex impedance, SWR, and delay, on

rectangular, polar or Smith-chart displays. These analyzers also employ advanced vector-error-correction techniques to enhance measurement accuracy.

For a wider range of output power levels to test active devices and components, Option 1E1 adds a 60-dB step attenuator as a standard feature, which extends the

lowest power-level setting to -60 dBm. Both 50-ohm and 75-ohm versions are available.
