Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8510C

Product Description:

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8510C Vector Network Analyzer, 45 MHz to 110 GHz

The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8510C network analyzer is an instrument which measures the complex transmission and reflection characteristics of two-port devices in the frequency domain. It does this by sampling the incident signal, separating the transmitted and reflected waves, and then performing ratios that are directly related to the reflection and transmission coefficients of the two-port. Frequency is swept to rapidly obtain amplitude and phase information over a band of frequencies of interest.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8510C network analyzers utilize synthesized-frequency sources to provide a known test stimulus that can sweep across a range of frequencies or power levels. Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8510C network analyzers also can perform ratioed measurements (including phase), which require multiple receivers. The Agilent Technologies, Inc. 8510C can provide a wealth of knowledge about a device under test (DUT), including its magnitude, phase, and group-delay response.

Feature:
Type: Vector
Integral Source: NO
Source Frequency: 45MHz

The HP 8510C vector network analyzer continues to provide the best performance to meet your new design and test challenges. With unmatched accuracy and

convenience, the HP 8510C vector network analyzer makes broadband measurements from 45 MHz to 50 GHz in 2.4 mm coax, from 45 MHz to 65 GHz in

1.85 mm coax and from 33 GHz to 110 GHz in waveguide bands.

The HP 8510C network analyzer measures the magnitude, phase and group delay of two-port networks to characterize their linear behavior. Optionally, the

HP 8510C network analyzer is also capable of displaying a network's time domain and response to an impulse or a step waveform by computing the inverse Fourier

transform of the frequency domain response.

The HP 8510C is a modular system composed of a vector network analyzer, source, S-parameter test set and test accessories configured to meet individual

measurement applications.
