Leader LF-942A Satellite Signal Level Meter
Model LF 942A measures signal level output of satellite LNBs (down converters) and carrier-to-noise ratio to evaluate and optimize satellite receiver installations. Small, fully portable and battery operated, the unit also powers the LNB allowing independent assessment of the dish/LNB part of the installation. Direct readout in dBmV or dBmV, as well as bargraph aid in dish aiming and in gauging signal loss in the LNB-tuner link and in multiple-outlet distribution systems. The unit features factory-programmed worldwide channel listings as well as user programmed 10-channel memory for routine checks and for future satellite assignments. Very easy to use and program, the LF 942A shows signal level, DC voltage supplied to the LNB, satellite name, channel number and antenna polarization, IF frequency, local-oscillator frequency, C/N and low-battery warning. An auto-shutdown feature turns off power if unattended for a user-selected time interval to conserve battery life.
