Significant RFI(Radio Frequency Interference) field strengths are commonly produced by walkie-talkies, broadcast activity, faultly ignition, etc. This RF energy can couple into electronic equipment through an enclosure or power line and create equipment malfunctions. The random, intermittent and broadband nature of RF interference makes it extremely difficult to identify. This module uses a broadband, omnidirectional antenna to measure field strength. If the field strenght exceeds user-selected limits for continuous wave or burst signals, the module records the field strength, duration and time of occurance.
