Because electronic circuitry operates from DC voltage levels, it is important to monitor and record DC voltage disturbances. Simultaneous monitoring of the AC input and DC output of equipment power supplies provides direct correlation between AC power line disturbances and disturbances to the DC logic bus.
Higher DC voltage levels, such as found in UPS systems and station batteries used by utilities and telephone central offices, may be monitored with a high range DC module.
When precision monitoring of multiple DC voltage levels is needed, the three channel transducer module is useful. It monitors and records out of limits conditions (surges, sags, over/under voltages) on a single channel DC voltage. This module can be used on multiple output power supplies.
