Agilent Technologies, Inc. 81632A Optical Power Sensor
The Agilent 81632A power sensor is for use in its family of optical component test (OCT) equipment. The family consists of the Agilent 8164A Lightwave Measurement System, 8163A Lightwave Multimeter and 8166A Multichannel System. The module enables design and manufacturing engineers to measure optical loss in passive optical components with much higher accuracy and speed. The high accuracy is possible because the new module virtually eliminates polarization dependence and is not sensitive to interference by highly coherent light sources. Equipped with large internal memory and on-board signal processing capabilities, the new power sensor is highly suitable for high-channel count.
