Option UNV increases the effective digital-to-analog converter (DAC) resolution from 11 bits to 16 bits in the baseband generator. At the RF output, this typically provides 6 to 8 dB of improvement in W-CDMA ACLR dynamic range up to +5 dBm output power (specified with Option 1EA).
