Option 1EM moves the following front panel connectors to the rear panel:

• RF Output
• LF Output
• Ext1 AND Ext2 Inputs
• Gate/Pulse/Trigger Input
• ALC Input
• Sync Out
• Video Out

Convenient connector placement for use in rackmount environments

The E8663D equipped with Option 1EM provides rear panel connectors only. With this option, all front panel connectors are moved to the rear panel of the instrument.

Typical application

Rear-panel connectors are recommended to simplify cable management when installing and using the E8663D in rackmount test environments such as manufacturing and system verification. Rear-panel connectors significantly simplify installation and maintenance and enable orderly cable management.

This option cannot be added as a product upgrade only available at time of purchase.
