AC/DC DECTECTION VERSATILITY
AC detection furthers your measurement accuracy and provides>76dB dynamic range by modulating the RF test signal and detecting only the modulated portion. This rejects noise (unmodulated electromagnetic interference and broadband noise from the device) which would otherwise degrade your measurement. If you device is modulation-sensitive, utilize the HP 8757C/E's DC detection capability.
