Description

The Agilent Technologies E5500 Series of phase noise measurement solutions offers the most flexible set of measurements on one-port VCOs, DROs, crystal oscillators and synthesizers. Two-port devices, including amplifiers and converters, plus CW, pulsed and spurious signals can also be measured. The E5500 measurements include absolute and residual phase noises, AM noise, and low-level spurious signals. The stand-alone instrument architecture easily configures for various measurement techniques, including the PLL/reference source technique, residual and FM discriminator methods.

With a wide offset range capability from 0.01 Hz to 100 MHz, the Agilent E5500 Series provides the capability, flexibility, and versatility to meet changing and demanding needs placed upon engineers. The E5500 architecture combines standard instruments, phase noise components, and PC software for the best flexibility and re-use of assets. Proprietary architectures are less flexible because your choice on reference sources and analyzers limits the phase noise measurements. The E5500 software enables many standalone instruments to work with the system.

By building upon 35 years of low phase noise, RF design and measurement experience, the Agilent 5500 Series solutions continue to provide excellent measurement integrity, repeatability and accuracy.

The standard system warranty is one year return-to-Agilent for each of the components.
