The AIT PXI-C1553 module is a member of the AIT MIL-STD-1553A/B test and simulation family. These modules are 3U PXI hybrid slot compatible instruments designed to support testing, simulating, monitoring, and analyzing MIL-STD-1553 A/B databuses. Each interface provides full error injection and detection capabilities for AS4112/AS4111 testing. Software-selectable bus coupling, including direct coupling, transformer coupling, and full bus network emulation, is available for each MIL-STD-1553 channel.
Software support includes an advanced, high-level NI LabVIEW and LabVIEW Real-Time instrument driver that provides an intuitive and easy-to-use software interface for developing MIL-STD-1553 applications and bus configuration. A rich suite of example LabVIEW applications is included to demonstrate the use of the PXI-C1553.
This module is capable of simultaneously simulating an MIL-STD-1553 bus controller (BC), up to 31 remote terminals (RTs), and a chronological bus monitor (BM) on each channel. Single-, dual-, and quad-channel options are available.
Additionally, single-function options (PXI-C1553M) are available and provide the ability to simulate a BC, up to 31 RTs, or a chronological BM on each channel. Single-, dual-, and quad-channel options are also available for the single-function modules.
