Ultimate Frequency Reference
When the device or system to be tested provides or requires a frequency reference different from the standard 10 MHz, Option 1ER allows use of a common reference without the need for frequency conversion.
Typical Application
Locking the test system and the device under test (DUT) to a common frequency reference is essential for making meaningful and repeatable measurements. This is particularly true for communications devices. Having a flexible frequency reference input enables the use of a local oscillator (LO) from the DUT to be used as the reference source.
