• Up to 40 GHz: -135 dBm up to 115 dB attenuation
• Up to 70 GHz: -110 dBm up to 115 dB attenuation

Level accuracy

• 2 to 20 GHz: +/-0.9 dB for -10 to -70 dBm output power
• 20 to 40 GHz: +/-1.0 dB -10 to -70 dBm output power
• 40 to 67 GHz: +/-1.5 dB for -10 to -70 dBm output power

Calibrated output power down to -135 dBm

The E8257D PSG signal generator equipped with Option 1E1 includes a step attenuator to provide calibrated minimum output power levels of -135 dBm (up to 40 GHz) and -110 dBm (up to 70 GHz) while maintaining superior level accuracy.

Typical applications

Option 1E1 is recommended for sensitivity and selectivity tests on radar, communications, and satellite receivers that will experience extremely low powered signals during real-world conditions.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
