Signal creation

• Configure fully coded 802.11n signals with convolutional coding and flexible configuration of MAC headers, MAC FCS, sequence control
• Supports 20 and 40 MHz bandwidth, short guard interval, MCS index 0 to 76, and aggregation MPDUs
• Operating modes: legacy, mixed mode, green field
• Flexible spatial stream configuration, space-time block coding, and MIMO configurations (Mx2, Mx3, and Mx4 where M < 4)

Use case

• Verify demodulation and decoding of ASICs and transceivers
• Test packet error rate (PER) performance of receivers
• Test performance of MIMO receivers with up to 4 antennas, including effects of channel models

Licensing

• Fixed, perpetual license (Option RFP)
• May be available as a transportable license (Option RTP) and floating license (Option RNP)
• License individual waveforms for your X-Series or ESG signal generator using 5-pack or 50-pack

Option RFP simplifies the creation of physical layer fully coded signals for testing single-channel or MIMO 802.11n receivers. Option FFP (basic 802.11n) is required to use option RFP.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
