The IQ-3100 modules are high-performance attenuators belonging to the IQ-200 family of products. The design enables the IQ-3100 modules to achieve repeatable, and precise attenuation settings. They are ideal for manufacturing and laboratory applications, such as EDFA characterization, component and system loss simulation, optical margin analysis, instrument calibration, power meter linearity measurement, and spectral tuning.
The IQ-3100 attenuators are configured for singlemode and multimode fiber; their calibration extends over the entire attenuation range for the 1200/1650 nm and 700/1350 nm wavelength ranges. The optical return loss (ORL) specification of singlemode attenuators is important to yield stable test results.
