Since its establishment in 1935, HIOKI has concentrated on developing electrical measurement instruments using the latest technology. After relocating our headquarters facility to HIOKI Forest Hills in 1990, the company has experienced many remarkable changes, including our initial public stock offering in 1991 and ISO9001 (international quality standard) certification in 1993. We look forward to continued growth and improvements through our high technology research and development efforts as the next century approaches.

We believe that a company's existence should support the needs of society: of course through its contributions to business, but also by serving the sports and cultural needs of the surrounding community. For this purpose we have opened public sports facilities, support the local little league, and have established a scholarship program among other efforts.

In May 1998, HIOKI E.E. Corporation established its first overseas subsidiary in the United States. Located in the Cranbury, New Jersey, HIOKI USA Corporation (also known as HUSA), includes an office and warehouse which provide the proper setting to quickly and effectively respond to our users in the American market as well as take on new challenges.
