The NI 5762 adapter module for NI FlexRIO is a broadband high-performance digitizer that meets a wide range of signal processing application needs by providing flexible measurement capabilities while offering the benefits of hardware customization through a user-programmable FPGA. It features two analog input channels at 250 MS/s with a market-leading 16 bits of resolution. A single, monolithic analog-to-digital converter (ADC) provides this level of performance, rather than interleaving multiple ADCs, which can lower dynamic performance. There are two versions of the NI 5762: the first has a 100 MHz input antialias filter for general-purpose AC-coupled digitization and the second features an unfiltered front end that provides more than 600 MHz of bandwidth (-5 dB) for undersampling applications including the acquisition of high-frequency IF communications signals. Additionally, 12 bidirectional digital I/O lines enable digital device under test and downconverter control as well as provide for simple FPGA-based digital protocols.
